I currently study chemistry, physics and maths at the University of Glasgow and soon approaching the half way mark through my undergrad. At the moment, I tutor 5 students but with more spare time I am hoping to take on more - just as their exams approach.
I received 3 As and a B in my 1st year uni modules and so far in the second I have achieved 2 As at the winter exams with another 3 exams approaching in May.
Teachers sometimes do the bare minimum in an attempt to simplify things for students passing their exams (whether a good thing or a bad thing) however I feel that a slightly larger depth is needed just to gain an understanding of why things happen. In other words, I like to question WHY things happen in physics, chemistry etc instead of being told to accept fact without any reasoning. I try to pass this thinking on to students. Of course, if the student has no intentions of carrying the subject on any further, then I do do my best to get the grade they need without going into too much depth.
I offer tuition to the following subjects:
I can do the majority of south side Glasgow and east Kilbride with some surrounding areas.
As I am at Glasgow Uni, I could perhaps do surrounding areas of Glasgow Uni.
If there are any questions at all, please don't hesitate to give me a call.
